Welcome to the Art of Larissa Stanley,

Hello, I’m Lari, a Kaska Dena artist/graphic designer/beader/trad tattooist from Yukon, Canada. I am Crow Clan, and a member of Liard First Nation.

I offer contemporary design services grounded in Indigenous culture. My work spans beadwork, graphic design, children’s book illustrations, hand poke tattooing, clothing and merchandise, and digitizing other’s traditional artwork such as carvings and beadwork.

These aren’t just separate offerings-they’re interconnected expressions of story and spirit. Each piece I create is part of a larger story. For example, hand poke tattoo patterns become mural designs. Beadwork inspires tattoos. Oral stories transform into visual art. Everything is connected.

I’ve branched into these different mediums because I’ve felt a need from the people around me. My community has guided my path, and I respond by creating art and services that speak to our shared experiences.

I believe art is medicine, and my business brings healing, warmth, and cultural pride to peoples spirits- something deeply needed in today’s world. I envision a future where Indigenous stories are honoured, shared, and woven into everyday life through design-where art becomes a bridge between generations, cultures, and communities.
